I had a really good stay at Hilton Garden Inn West 35th Street. It was the last stop in my international whirlwind travel week and my stay was memorable and comfortable. The stand out for me was the reception team-I wish I made a note of people’s names. I have never met such a helpful, empathetic, professional, efficient team. I have stayed in many hotels around the world but do not usually do reviews but had to do for these guys. From my unexpected upgrade to a room with a view of the Empire State Building, advice re-navigating Manhattan and broadway show info to last minute taxi to the airport and more. My tired body and brain will forever be grateful to the front of house team-they made my 26 hours as a Londoner in New York easy :-) My room was very comfortable and clean. Powerful shower and nice toiletries The location was so convenient for the theatre, shops, even to walk to the pier to meet my friend who was on a cruise ship.

I stayed at this hotel with my husband for the night of my wedding ceremony. I left a note for the hotel about this and asked for a room with a nice city view. We were running late for the day and called the reception that we were going to arrive after 12am, which was after hours for check-in. The staff were extremely understanding and waited for our arrival. When we finally checked in, we were amazed with the view and the staff went overboard by leaving a very nice hand-written card signed by all the front desk staff and left a bottle wine and some snacks. I cannot thank them enough, it was such a nice way of ending a long wedding day, and I was so glad we chose Hilton Gardens. Not to mention the best location and cleanliness of the room. All was perfect. Thank you again!

We liked everything! George from the reception is the best, he gave us the room with the best view of Empire State Building and made my wife’s birthday very special. He was always very friendly, gave us tips for visiting the city and always made sure we are comfortable. The location of the hotel is perfect, the metro station is a few steps away, Times Square 10 minutes to walk. The room and bathroom were big enough and clean, they changed our towels and made the bed every day. There is also a small shop in the reception where you can buy water, snacks and even medication. They hold 350$ on our credit card which were released the next day after we checked out. We totally recommend this hotel.

I was amazed of the kindness of the Hotel Staff, the check in System crashed at my arrival and i had to wait for like 20 minutes, i was immediately offered water bottles and some snacks for no charge. I had a quite a big room for nyc standards with a stunning view. A Microwave and a Fridge was also there. Luggage storage was possible for no extra charge. I had a really hard time finding a hotel based on the many hotels and reviews in nyc. At the end i choosed this hotel over a newer hotel with bad reviews on the hotel staff and it was the right decision! I didn't had breakfast, since nyc has to offer so many options.

We really enjoyed staying at Hilton Garden Inn West 35th St. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, the rooms clean, comfortable and practically equipped. It is in one of the most touristic places of Manhattan, so there are always many (many!) people in the streets, but it is also a well-situated "home base" to explore NYC and its surroundings, from a Wal-Mart in New Jersey to a jazz club in Queens, from Rockaway Beach to Harlem and beyond. Hope to be back here one day! BTW, great background music in the lobby.
